How the dry carpet cleaning process works

Traditional carpet cleaning methods can often leave carpets damp, or sometimes very wet and subject to rapid re-soiling or even worse, shrinkage or mildew.  You will have none of these problems because we will not be soaking them with water. As a result your carpets will be clean and bone dry.

Most people don't realise that a high proportion, up to 85% of dirt in a carpet is dry. So we always carry out a thorough vacuum clean of your carpet before using our dry carpet cleaning process.  Many companies will not carry out this very important step but instead just put water or steam directly onto the dry dirt creating mud which sinks to the bottom of your carpet and then rises to the top again when it dries out (after they have gone!) .

Spots and stains are then treated before applying the dry cleaning compound which is worked into the pile of the carpet with a specialist machine. This compound breaks down and absorbs the soiling, this is then vacuumed up leaving your carpet clean and dry.
